I captured these images on January 11, 2011, during a brief business trip to Paris. The first wave of pro-democracy protests in what would eventually be known as the ‘Arab Spring’ were occurring in both Tunisia and Paris. The Tunisian government headed by Zine El Abidine Ben Ali would fall within 3 days of these images being taken.
